CUMBRIA Police have helped a city centre business clear away graffiti.
Officers in Carlisle assisted a business in cleaning away graffiti from their shop from with the help of staff from The Lanes shopping centre.
Law enforcement have warned the public that it is a criminal offence to take part in this type of activity.
A police spokesperson said: "PC 2608 and PCSO 5431 have been in the city centre this morning.
"They have assisted a local business in cleaning up Graffiti with some help from The Lanes cleaning staff.
"Graffiti is an offence of criminal damage and anyone committing the offence will be dealt with appropriately."
