A senior figure in Carlisle United's supporters' trust has resigned.
Dave Noble, who was a CUOSC board member and also their alternative representative to the Blues' operational board, has stood down.
Lifelong United fan Noble had been on the CUOSC board since his election in July 2022.
He tabled his resignation on Sunday and the trust have today announced his departure.

In a statement CUOSC said: "At the weekend the board of CUOSC accepted the resignation of Dave Noble with immediate effect.
"We’d like to put on record our thanks for Dave’s hard work over the last couple of years, particularly in respect to the takeover by Castle Sports Group, and wish him well in the future."
Noble joined the trust in 2022 having been part of the Unita Fortior movement which set up the previous winter aimed at revitalising CUOSC.
Over the last season he has also written the trust's weekly column for the News & Star.
CUOSC have not yet commented on any plans for a successor to Noble in his roles with the trust.
Matt Spooner is CUOSC's representative on United's 1921 operational board, with Billy Atkinson their rep on the Holdings board.
The trust's chair is Dan McLennan, with Claire Winder the vice-chair.
